What a virtual moving estimate is
An in-home survey means an estimator drives to the house, walks every room with a notepad, and drives back, sometimes for a job that books with another mover. A virtual estimate moves that survey online: the customer shows the home, and the estimator builds the inventory from the office.
The estimate is only as good as the inventory behind it. A missed wardrobe or a forgotten storage closet changes the truck and the crew, and if it only shows up on move day, the fix is a conversation about the bill.
A recording instead of a video call
Many virtual surveys run as a live video call, with the estimator directing the customer from room to room and taking notes. That needs both people free at the same time, and when the customer misses the call, the estimate waits while someone reschedules.

Your customer films each room
You send one link. It opens in the phone’s browser with your company’s name and logo on it, so there is no app and no account. The customer talks as they film: what moves, what stays, and what needs care.
MoveVision drafts the inventory
Each item MoveVision finds is named, counted and matched to an entry on your cube sheet, so the inventory comes out in cubic feet. What the customer said is recorded against the item it was about, and every line links to the second of video where the item was seen.
Your estimator reviews every line
Nothing reaches a quote until your estimator has checked it. They open the survey with the video beside the inventory, jump to the moment behind any line, and correct or add anything before quoting.
The customer’s home stays private
A walkthrough shows the inside of someone’s home, so it stays with the job it was recorded for. Your company sets how long walkthrough video is kept: 30 days by default, anywhere from 14 to 365.
Moving companies never see each other’s data. Each company sees only its own surveys, inventories and video.
