Give the crew the plan behind the quote

Hand off the stops, contacts, reviewed inventory and access instructions in a crew phone view. Keep assignments, tasks and job notes together.

Before the truck leaves

  • Both stops, access notes and on-site contacts.
  • What is moving, what stays and what needs care.
  • The crew, outstanding tasks and job notes.

The crew reads the job in their phone browser. Prices stay hidden.

The person doing the move needs the details too

The estimator may know about the side entrance, the dresser staying behind and the customer's packing choice. Those details need to reach the crew without becoming another message thread to search on move day.

MoveVision keeps the survey, inventory, quote and operating details on the same job. Assigned crew use My jobs in their phone browser to see the information they need for the work, with prices hidden.

Put the workflow into practice

  1. Step 1

    Confirm the job plan

Set the move date and time, check both stops, and record floor, elevator, parking, access and on-site contacts. Review the inventory's item plans and handling notes before the handoff.

  2. Step 2

    Assign the people and follow-ups

Choose the estimator, crew lead and crew. A conflict note flags someone already assigned that day. Give remaining tasks owners and due dates, and keep notes and mentions with the job.

  3. Step 3

    Open the job on site

Crew members sign in on their phone and open My jobs. They can read the stops, map, crew, inventory, tasks and notes without installing an app or seeing the customer's prices.

Start with one real job

Pilot the handoff on one booked move. Ask the crew lead to read the job before arrival and identify any instruction they would otherwise have needed to call the office about.

Agree on the details

  • Assigned lead and crew for the move date
  • Contact and access details at both stops
  • Packing choice and item handling instructions
  • Open tasks and the person responsible for each

A shared job record supports the handoff

MoveVision's crew view runs in a web browser and needs connectivity. Assignment conflict notes do not automatically optimize schedules or routes, and the product does not track vehicles live.

Questions about this workflow

Can crew members see the quote price?

No. The crew's My jobs view omits prices. Company roles and permissions control access to the broader dashboard and financial information.

Does the crew need to install an app?

No. Crew members sign in to MoveVision in their phone browser. My jobs includes their assigned jobs and the stop details, inventory, tasks and notes for each one.
