Your customer’s side
- Will my customers actually do it?
- It’s a link from your company that opens on their phone. There’s no app and no account, and they can do one room at a time whenever they like.
- What does my customer need?
- A phone with a camera and an up-to-date browser. They open your link, walk through each room and say what’s moving.
- How long does a walkthrough take?
- About as long as walking through the home. They film one room at a time, so a big house doesn’t have to be one long video.
- Does the homeowner see MoveVision?
- They see your company. Every screen has your name, logo and colors, with a small “Powered by MoveVision” line at the bottom.
Your estimator’s side
- How is this different from a video call survey?
- Nobody has to be on a call. Your customer films when it suits them, and your estimator starts from a drafted inventory instead of taking notes live.
- What if the video misses something?
- Your estimator checks every line before quoting and can add or fix anything. Each item links to the spot in the video where it appears, so there’s no need to rewatch the whole thing.
- Does MoveVision replace my estimator?
- No. It gives your estimator a drafted list instead of a blank sheet, and nothing goes into a quote until they’ve checked it.
- Can we use our own logo and colors?
- Yes. Pick a palette or set your own colors, upload your logo and browser icon, and write the message customers see after they send. Your dashboard, customer links and printed estimates all use them.
- Can my team have different access?
- Yes. The company owner invites team members and gives each one a role.
Video and privacy
- What happens to the video?
- It’s stored privately with the survey it belongs to. The privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.
- How long is the video kept?
- 30 days from upload by default. Choose from 14 days up to your plan allowance, at most 365 days, or set a period for one job.
- Can another moving company see our surveys?
- No. Each company only sees its own jobs.
Getting started
- What does signing up commit me to?
- No contract. You add a card to start the free trial, and if you cancel before it ends you are not charged.
- Who can sign up?
- Any moving company. Create your account, choose a plan and send your first survey link the same day.
