Review the evidence, then make the estimate

Work from room video, a searchable transcript and a drafted cube sheet. Correct the inventory, resolve unsure items and build a quote you control.

Try the review: select a room, read the customer's instructions and change the flagged chair's size. The cube total follows the correction.

Rooms

What the customer said in Guest bedroom

  • Guest room. The bed, the filing cabinet and the chair in the corner.
  • Eight boxes of books.
Drafted lines11 pieces · 87 cu ft

In this sample, only the chair’s size can be changed.

A draft is useful when it is easy to check

A list of furniture names still leaves questions. Which sofa? How many cartons? Did the customer say the dresser was staying? An estimator needs the source close enough to answer those questions without starting the survey again.

MoveVision places the inventory beside the recorded rooms, with a timestamp and still for each line. The customer can record without arranging a live appointment, and your estimator reviews the submitted survey when it is ready.

Put the workflow into practice

  1. Step 1

    Open a submitted survey

Move between rooms and check the proposed inventory against the video. Selecting an item seeks its moment in the clip, and the transcript helps find the customer's spoken instructions.

  2. Step 2

    Resolve the uncertain parts

Review unsure items, correct quantities and sizes, add what was missed, and set handling notes. Use the cube table or override cubic feet for a piece that needs your judgment. Ask a colleague to review when useful.

  3. Step 3

    Build and revise the quote

Use your company's rates, review truck, crew and hours, and adjust access, packing and custom charges. Save quote versions and download a PDF or print the branded estimate.

Start with one real job

Have two estimators review the same sample room and agree on the corrections that matter before quoting. Use that shared review to establish your team's cube and handling conventions.

Agree on the details

  • Room coverage and any missing evidence
  • Unsure items, quantities, sizes and dispositions
  • Packing, access and specialty handling
  • Company rates, crew assumptions and quote wording

Keep the estimator in charge

AI can miss or misidentify belongings. Cube and weight figures are planning estimates, not measured dimensions or scale weights. Review the draft and follow up on anything the recording does not establish.

Questions about this workflow

Can I change the AI inventory?

Yes. You can change item names, sizes, cubic feet, weight, quantities, room, notes and handling tags, add missed items and remove incorrect ones. The estimator decides what reaches the quote.

Does every survey need a live video call?

No. Customers record a guided walkthrough from the survey link. Your estimator reviews the submitted recording and can follow up separately if a room or instruction needs clarification.
