See the home before you plan the move

Collect a room-by-room home walkthrough, check the drafted inventory, and carry the details into a moving quote and crew handoff.

A household is more than a bedroom count

Two three-bedroom homes can need very different trucks, packing and labor. The garage, the spare room and the things the customer is keeping all change the scope. Your estimator needs to see the belongings and understand the plan.

MoveVision gives the customer a guided survey link and keeps the submitted rooms, inventory, quote and job details together. Your estimator checks the draft against the walkthrough before deciding what to charge.

Put the workflow into practice

  1. Step 1

    Collect the whole home

Send your branded link. The customer adds the rooms they need, records each one in their phone browser, and says what is moving or staying. Photos can cover a room or add a closer look.

  2. Step 2

    Check the scope

Review the proposed items beside the room video. Correct quantities and sizes, add missing pieces, confirm packing, and check the pickup and destination details before building the quote.

  3. Step 3

Keep the plan with the job

Use the reviewed cube total to plan truck, crew and hours. Save a quote, assign the team, and keep the room inventory and access notes available for the move.

Start with one real job

Use one upcoming residential job to agree on what a complete survey looks like. Include the less obvious spaces, then have an estimator review the result before quoting.

Agree on the details

  • Every room, garage and storage area in scope
  • Items staying behind or traveling with the customer
  • Packing choice and special handling
  • Access and on-site contacts at both stops

The walkthrough supports your estimate

The inventory is a draft until a person checks it. A survey cannot show belongings hidden inside closed containers or places the customer does not film. Ask for missing details before finalizing the job.

Questions about this workflow

Does the customer need an app or an account?

No. The customer opens the survey link in their phone browser. They can record room by room, check the proposed items and return to the survey later.

Does MoveVision send an automatic final price?

No. Your estimator reviews the inventory and controls the quote. Truck, crew and hours can be adjusted, and the quote uses your company's rates and charges.
