Terms of service

MoveVision is software that moving companies use to survey a home and price a move. It is operated by Correll Technologies. These terms cover two different people: a homeowner who was sent a capture link, and a moving company using the dashboard. Read the part that applies to you. What happens to the data is on the privacy page.
If your moving company sent you a link
The link is your credential. Anyone who has the link can open your survey and see what is in it. Treat it the way you would treat a password, and do not post it anywhere public.
What we ask of you. Film your own home. Do not film anybody who has not agreed to be filmed, and do not record anything you would not want your moving company to see, because your moving company watches the video.
The list is a starting point, not a quote. A model proposes the inventory from your video, and you correct it. Your moving company sets the price and stands behind it. We do not price your move and we are not a party to it.
Stopping and coming back. You can stop at any time, and the link remembers where you left off. After you send the survey you can take it back to add something you forgot, until your moving company has started work on it.
What we do not promise. We work to keep the service running and to make the list accurate, and we do not promise either. If a recording fails, or the list misses something, tell your moving company.
If you are a moving company using MoveVision
This is a beta. Features change, and some things are not built yet. Where that is true we say so rather than implying otherwise, on this page and on the privacy page.
Your account. You are responsible for who you invite, for what your team does with the access you give them, and for keeping sign-in details private. A member's role decides what they can see and do.
Your customers' data. The surveys you create hold your customers' personal details and video of their homes. You decide what to collect, how long to keep it and when to delete it, and we act on your instructions. Telling your customers what you do with it, and having the right to collect it, is yours.
Deleting a survey. Deleting a survey removes everything it holds, and there is no partial deletion. During the beta you ask us and we run it, because no screen in the dashboard offers it yet. The timings are on the privacy page.
The retention setting. The video window on your Settings page records your instruction. Nothing removes a walkthrough automatically today. A walkthrough past its window is due for deletion, and deleting it is the manual step above.
Price. There is no billing in the product. Anything about price during the beta is whatever we have agreed with you directly.
Ending. You can stop using MoveVision whenever you like. Ask us in writing to close your account and we remove your surveys, your settings, your brand assets and your members within 30 days. The product has no screen that closes an account, so we do this by hand.
What we do not promise. We do not promise that the service will be available without interruption, or that an inventory will be complete or correct. An estimator checks every list before a price goes out, and that check is part of how the product is meant to be used.
Changes to these terms. We change this page when the product changes, and the date at the top is the version. We will tell you about a change that affects how you use the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use MoveVision to:
- record anyone without their knowledge, or record for a purpose other than a move;
- upload content you have no right to share;
- try to reach another company’s data, get around access controls, or interfere with the service;
- copy, resell or build a competing product from the service.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell the company owner why.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The beta is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim about MoveVision is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
