One job, from first look to handoff

  1. Survey

The rooms and the customer's instructions

  2. Inventory

    The items your estimator checked

  3. Quote

The scope and price your team controls

  4. Crew

The stops, tasks and notes for moving day

One move should not become several disconnected records

The first conversation, survey and quote all describe the same job. MoveVision keeps that context with the move as it progresses, so the person checking the inventory and the person organizing the crew can work from the same record.

How it works in practice

  1. Step 1

See the work in the right view

Use a list for the details, a board for stages or a calendar for move dates. Filter by stage, packing, date or assignee, and move jobs between stages.

  2. Step 2

    Complete the move details

Record stops, access notes, floor, elevator, parking and the on-site contact. Keep the survey, inventory, quote and activity with the job.

  3. Step 3

    Follow through with the team

Assign tasks with due dates, leave notes and mention teammates. The next person can pick up the job with the earlier decisions in context.

What is included

  • Jobs in list, board and calendar

See jobs as a list, a board or a calendar, and drag cards between stages from New to Completed or Lost. Filter by stage, packing, move date or assignee.

  • One record for each job

Overview, survey, inventory, quote, tasks and activity sit in one job record.

  • Move details and map for each stop

Set the move date and time, and per stop the floor, elevator, parking, access notes and on-site contact. A map with driving directions is included.

  • Tasks, notes and @mentions

Give tasks due dates and assignees, mention teammates in notes, and follow an activity feed for the job.

What to keep in mind

A stage is a record of your team's workflow. It does not independently confirm a customer's booking, collect payment or replace the conversations needed to agree the move.

Are the list, board and calendar separate sets of jobs?

No. They are views of the same job records. Job details, inventory and quotes remain attached as your team changes the stage or schedule.
