MoveVision

MoveVision is video survey software for moving companies. Your customer films their own home from a branded link, MoveVision drafts the inventory, and your estimator checks it against the video and builds the quote. It also has a job workspace for jobs, crew, tasks and quotes.

SmartMoving

SmartMoving describes itself as all-in-one moving software and CRM, with estimates and pricing, dispatch and crew management, sales automation, accounting, payments and reporting. Customers can view and sign estimates on their phones, pay a deposit online and get automated text messages. For virtual surveys, it describes an integration with LiveSwitch that makes it easy to launch and record video calls. We found no native AI inventory from video on its public pages, and we could not confirm its pricing from them.

Where MoveVision is different

What MoveVision does today:

  • Every line links to its moment in the video

    Your estimator can check an inventory line by watching the item: each line keeps its moment and a still frame, and the video jumps to it.

  • What your customer says changes the draft

    Saying that an item is not going, giving a size or count, or naming something the video missed is picked up from the transcript. The transcript is searchable next to the video and is deleted after 7 days.

  • A plan for every item

    Each item has its own plan: move, stay, store, discard, donate, sell or customer takes. Your estimator sees who set it, and a room can carry a default.

  • A job workspace to go with it

    Jobs show as a list, a board or a calendar with stages from New to Completed or Lost. Each job record holds the survey, inventory, quote, tasks and activity.

  • You decide how long video is kept

    Customer video is deleted on a schedule you set: 30 days from upload by default, from 14 days up to your plan allowance (at most 365), or a different period for one survey.
